Partner Pension Payments Can Offset Parental-Leave Gaps

Octopus Money found that more than one-third of parents reduced or paused pension contributions during parental leave. Sixty-three percent did not know a partner could contribute for them. In Britain, £2,880 paid yearly for someone with low or no earnings can become £3,600 with basic-rate tax relief.
